That is where Richard Homburg made his first real estate investment. In 1976, after his move to Canada, he purchased a construction company as the launchpad for an expansion on two continents. Today, Dr. Homburg has a 40-year track record as an entrepreneur, company builder and team builder. He was named 2004 Entrepreneur of the year for the Atlantic region by Ernst & Young. He has also received honorary doctorates from St. Mary’s University (Commerce) and the University of Prince Edward Island (Law).
